New Salary Field in PhysEmp’s Ad Performance Report Will Improve Your Success Rate
At PhysEmp, we are committed to providing you with the best tools to enhance your recruitment effort!
We are thrilled to announce an update that will not only keep you compliant with evolving advertising laws, but also boost the visibility of your ads.
Regarding the latest legal developments in transparency in online advertising, in California and New York, it is now mandatory to include salary data in job advertisements. Failure to comply not only puts you at risk of legal consequences but, very importantly, can affect your rankings on search engines including Google.
It’s to your advantage to include salary in your ads.
The Power of the Salary Field
To improve your experience, we have introduced a Salary Field in your performance reports.
While salary data can be included in the body of an ad’s job description field, it is far more advantageous to use the dedicated salary box during the job creation process.
Doing so provides two significant advantages:
- SEO bump from Google. By adding salary data in the designated field, your ad is more likely to appear higher in search rankings, making it easier for potential candidates to find your opportunities.
- Enhanced salary visibility for job seekers. They can now quickly and easily identify the salary or salary range for a position, making your ads more appealing and informative.
Integration with Reports
But the benefits don’t end there. We understand the importance of data-driven decision-making, and that’s why we’ve integrated salary data into your performance report.
Now, when you log into your PhysEmp account, you’ll notice that the Ads Performance Report Card includes a dedicated field for salary data (the 5th field).
Take Advantage of the New Feature Today
While legal compliance with transparency law is crucial, we want to emphasize the impact of adding salary info in in the box (rather than in the long job description) on your ad’s performance.
By proactively adopting the best practice described in this article, you’ll not only be adhering to legal requirements, but also stay ahead in terms of performance and visibility.
Your use of the Salary Field feature when building your job ads will give you a competitive edge in terms of filling your open positions!
