If you’re an advertiser on PhysEmp, you’ve received our daily emails with qualified candidates who fit the stated requirements of your advertised positions.
Now, in our newest upgrade, we are including in your emailed leads an improved version of “Previously Sent Matches” – that is, physicians who match your requirements that we have sent you in the past but who may have returned to our site looking for positions.
We are reminding you that though you already have their information, the physician may be seeking a job.
This can increase your chances of finding the right candidate.

Why You Should Check Your ‘Previously Sent’ Matches
There are 3 good reasons to keep an eye on previously sent matches:
- Sometimes promising candidates can get “lost in the shuffle.” That is, you may have missed an email reminder of a candidate we sent a while back who could be a fit now for a position.
- Maybe you reached out to a physician in the past who didn’t respond, though there may be a possibility for that job seeker now. So, here they are again for your consideration.
- There may have been turnover at your recruitment firm. We may have sent a great lead a month ago to a former employee—one that could prove invaluable now. So, we’re simply reminding you, “Here’s that lead to consider.”

How the Candidate-Job Matching System Works
Here’s how it works in a nutshell: After you’ve posted your positions, we send you a daily email with leads of our qualified candidates who have sought positions on our job board that relate to your requirements.
The email contains 3 sections:
PRIMARY MATCH
These are your top possibilities—candidates who have applied for jobs recently that match your posted job title and state. For example, if you posted, “Family Practice” positions in Oregon, the matches we will send you will match that specialty and state of interest.
SECONDARY MATCH
These candidates are leads that can still can yield results for you, but may not match all the requirements you’re seeking.
PREVIOUSLY SENT MATCHES
These are candidates that we’ve sent you from 90 days ago as a reminder they are still looking (prior to this latest upgrade, we used to wait a year to send these types of leads).
When you sign into your PhysEmp account, you’ll see these your leads listed there as well. But the emails act as easy-to-view reminders of the candidates who may be perfect for you at this time.
